Hello friends,

I know I don’t have a big Tumblr following, and, seriously, I’m okay with that. So I’m reaching out to you loyal few. I’m putting together my wedding playlist - no dj, just me, my ipod, and a big honkin’ itunes card - and I’m in need of suggestions. If you know me, you know I’m not playing, say, the electric slide, nor am I looking to impress everybody there with obscure indie bands. I’m just looking for wonderful music - gorgeous music - that isn’t sad. This is turning out to be a much more difficult task than expected.

So, all that said, hit me up with suggestions. The thing I’m most lacking is danceable stuff. To give you a sense of tone, we’re dancing our first dance to “God Only Knows,” off, of course, potentially the greatest record of all time, Pet Sounds. We’re giving away Groucho glasses as favors. And I’m not playing Journey.
